Sisters and Brothers,

Last week, I had the pleasure of having a long conversation with Darrell over the phone. I use the word pleasure lightly, as the conversation was quite somber. He spoke of the surrealness of his fighting covid and the realism of death. And he spoke of God and the power of Prayer. His words broke my heart and enlightened me.

He wants everyone to know how THANKFUL he is for the prayers, thoughts and kind words that came his way. His health has improved, but the road ahead is still a very long one. He asks that you keep him in your prayers, as without them, he believes this story would have had a very different ending.

Darrell’s words to all….Please take covid seriously, don’t be lax in your attitude because it hasn’t hit home, continue to mask up and wash your hands and (he was told this at the hospital), if it’s medically possible, take a baby aspirin to keep your blood thin.

GOOD LUCK DARRELL IN YOUR RECUPERATION!!!!
